I

've talked so much about Michael Mandrake because he's my main muse, but my other muse BLMorticia did a fair share of books as well.

Today, February 1st, is this book's birthday. The Metalrotica series was based off a series of books I called The Wretched that told the story of a closeted bass player for a heavy metal band. Once Chad comes out bisexual, he meets a fierce female guitarist and falls in love with her.

Hirah Blaze is an unsung hero in my group of characters. I created her as a mirror image of what I wanted to be as a young woman of color wishing to navigate the white male dominated metal music scene. Now, I never wanted to play guitar, however her story symbolizes a woman who earns her way into a group, thus breaking the stereotypes that only white men can rock.

Mind you, I explain it a lot better as opposed to when I first wrote the book because, well, I was a lot less mature when I wrote it. So please cut me some slack.

I really hope to revisit these characters one day because BL won't allow me to rest if I don't! :)

This man had me.

Oh God, he had me in a freaking tizzy.

I want Chad.

I want Chad Stephenson.

I want him in my bed.

I want him now before we go on this stage.

Oh sh*t.

I am such a goner.

I am off the deep end now.

This wasn’t supposed to happen.

I’m supposed to be all about f*cking world domination with my guitar, not obsessing over my hotter-than-hell bass player.

It’s show time for The Wretched. We’re about to go on tour and I’m stoked to be onstage in front of thousands. However, I can’t get a certain someone off my mind. Hot bassist, Chad Stephenson has become my crack and I’m happily addicted.

This is a spinoff of The Wretched Tales with new guitarist Hirah Blaze. She's kicking a** and taking names, looking to become the metal world's newest guitar goddess!

After a couple of minutes, I got my head out of the fog and walked towards my apartment building — or really, I should say Bryan’s. Though if he was going to keep up his spoiled baby act, I might have to start looking for a new place to live sooner than later. Corey told me I could stop by at any time to chill with him and Specha, but I’m sure they didn’t mean staying for more than a day or maybe two. I’d have to ride this out until after the tour, then hopefully think about finding a new roommate once we returned to LA.

Since the elevator was out, again, I jogged up the staircase to the third-floor apartment. The minute I took out my keys, the door opened, with Bryan standing in the pathway wearing nothing but a big Cheshire cat smile.

Holy f*ck!

Bryan’s body dripped with moisture and his dark brown locks were plastered to his shoulders and face. His pecs were taut and glistening, and so was the tip of his d*ck, which I had to say, was quite impressive in size. Lately he’d been hitting the gym hard and the gut he’d incurred from drinking too much had disappeared. What can I say, the man looked hot as hell — and I needed to get a grip, because no matter how delicious he looked, I wouldn’t be sleeping with him. Especially when I’d just turned down the best piece of as** this side of the Pacific.

Distracted, I gulped and shook my head to get out of the haze. I cleared my throat and rubbed the back of my neck, keeping my eyes level with his. “Ahem, Bryan —”

Bryan promptly held his hand up in front of my face. “Save it, man. I already know what you’re gonna say. I don’t care about what you do with Miss Hirah. Just give me a chance to make your stay here worthwhile.”

What the flying f*ck?

I had to admit, I liked Bryan’s nerve to say he’d make my living here worthwhile. I shrugged my shoulders and sighed, fighting to keep my eyes on his face. “It is worth it, Bryan. You’re giving me a roof over my head.”
